You're about to become the cool kid on the block with all the snazzy new articles.
I see a lot of articles out there that seem to be same thing over and again.
I also see a lot of articles that don't have any structure. And while stream of consciousness writing is great for your journal (and for sparking ideas for things you *could* write an article about), stream of consciousness is NOT an article.
You've probably read those articles that are hard to follow. You think it's going in one direction (because the author sure made it SOUND like it was going in that direction), and then all of a sudden, it veers off course, and it never gets back to the thing you were super interested in.
Well, my friend, Article Magic will help you avoid those pitfalls!

Each class focuses on one template at a time, so you can easily come back and grab the one you want. The template handouts are all PDFs that walk you through the different steps for each type of article.
I recommend having the handout handy when you sit down to work on your own articles. (You may also want to have the accompanying video open, for further explanation. I try to be thorough with the handouts, but I always end up saying way more once I get talking in the videos.)

THE 3-STEP SYSTEM TO GENERATE ENDLESS IDEAS FOR CONTENT
Ever feel like simply coming up with ideas for your content is hard? Start here! In this class, I walk you through the Copy Luv system to generate content ideas. Bonus: this process also automatically organizes all of your ideas as you go!
BONUS ARTICLE: THE "SUPER BASIC ARTICLE BREAKDOWN"
Let's kick things off by understanding the basics. This is a super handy template to have around because the steps can be used for so many different articles – without having to get overly complicated.
TEMPLATE #1: THE LIST ARTICLE
Ah, the list! This is one of the most popular and easy-to-read articles.
It’s scannable. Readers can quickly + easily find the information they want. And it’s formatted in a way that recaptures your readers attention if she starts to meander o .
TEMPLATE #2: THE STEP-BY-STEP ARTICLE
This article type is great for when you want to give your readers some steps to achieve something.
(You can also think of this one as a “How To” article.) You’re teaching your reader how to do something by breaking down a series of steps.
TEMPLATE #3: MORAL OF THE STORY ARTICLE
Surprise! You’re going to tell a story...
... and then use that story to teach a lesson.
(If you’re able to stockpile your stories, or make mental notes as you see things happening throughout your day, you’ll always be able to use one of these.)
TEMPLATE #4: THE PREACH IT! ARTICLE
Pick a topic or idea that gets you all riled up. Maybe you get super excited about it. Or maybe it’s something you see in your industry that upsets you. Or maybe you see people struggling with something that breaks your heart.
Come up with something that you have an OPINION on. And now you get to tell us your opinion. After all, this is YOUR email list.
TEMPLATE #5: THE "IN THE NEWS" ARTICLE
There’s always something happening SOMEwhere in the news. Or social media. Or online. Or in pop culture.
And you can totally use it for inspiration.
TEMPLATE #6: THE INTERVIEW ARTICLE
Okay, this one isn’t really an article. It’s... well, it’s an interview.
This one does take some planning ahead, but it’s a great way to build relationships with other experts AND take the bulk of the actual writing o of your plate.
It’s kind of like having someone write a Guest Article for you, but you guide the discussion, and it’s often easier for the other expert because they just have to respond to your questions.
TEMPLATE #7: THE CURATED ARTICLE
The Curated Article is great if you feel like you struggle to come up with original content all the time.
Because in the Curated Article, you can go around the internet and gather relevant insights or resources and then share them with your readers.

BONUS ARTICLE: THE EXPERT ROUNDUP
This is actually a Curated Article, but it deserves to receive its own, slightly more in-depth explanation.
Because you can follow the steps for the Curated Article, and simply gather tips from experts around the web.
